Job Description

Achieve/exceed annual revenue targets for assigned Regional Sales Management team

Lead Business Development staff and oversee/drive business opportunities

Manage compliance with, and continual improvement of, company sales and marketing processes and systems

Manage the opportunity/sales pipeline to meet departmental and company revenue goals
-
Manage and perform bidding, client negotiations, and contract renewals for key clients
-
Interact with clients and prospects on an ongoing basis; provide and oversee staff to ensure superlative service and client account management

Drive recruiting initiatives to meet departmental needs
-
Provide strategic planning to support company vision; build strategic relationships with targeted clients; engage Senior Leadership and SMEs to support account specific initiatives and goals

Provide strategic leadership for organizational development and change initiatives
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
-
At least eight years related experience and exceptional track record in direct sales

Knowledge of the bio/pharmaceutical industry, drug development, FDA regulations, and all aspects of CMC testing
-
Demonstrated expertise in cGMP laboratory operations and leadership skills
-
Excellent communication (oral and written), attention to detail, and ability to relate well to people in direct communication, as well as formal presentation

Listen, negotiate, and convince; manage and motivate other personnel
-
Excellent business sense; promote professional services
-
Bachelor’s degree in sciences or M.B.A. in marketing/business or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
The ideal candidate would possess:
-
Experience selling for a service company in the bio/pharmaceutical sector – CDMO, CRO, or CTO. Practical lab experience with a biotech/pharma company would be a plus.

Commutable distance from Columbia, MO

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of, or willing to relocate to, Columbia MO are encouraged to apply.
